In MetaShare, you can tag documents and workspaces with terms (a.k.a. keywords) and people in your organization. Tags can be applied when you for example create<\/a> or upload<\/a> a document, or on an already existing document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Single value field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will use the Area field as an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click the pen icon to start editing.

  2. Select one of the available terms (Finance through Support in this case). You can also search to narrow down the list.

  3. Upon selecting, you will return to the form and see that Management has been selected.

    You can change it by clicking the pen icon again, or clear the value by clicking the “X” on the Management tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Multi value field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    We will use the Keyword field as an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click the pen icon to start editing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select each value you want by checking the checkbox next to it.

    3. Upon selecting, the tag will be added above the search box.

    4. Click apply to apply the tags to the properties and close the dialog, when you are satisfied with your selection.

      Tags that have children are not directly selectable. They are marked with a chevron (>) icon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
